Every year The Iceland Chamber of Commerce hosts various meetings and other events. The largest event is the Chamber’s annual Iceland Business Forum, which is also one of the main gatherings within the Icelandic business community.
The Forum was first held in 1975 and has since then been an important platform for discussions on economic developments and prospects both locally and globally. The Forum is attended by members of the Chamber, politicians, and government officials, as well as others interested in Iceland’s business community.
Each Business Forum has a special focus related to the current business environment, developments, and outlooks. Previous Business Forums have focused on matters such as competition in a changing world, domestic operations in an international context and opportunities brought by an increased number of tourists. Only to name a few examples.
The Iceland Business Forum is held in February every year.
